This is the type of pink power wheels for girls that many parents would want to buy for their children. Power wheels generally do not come cheap. They are typically much more expensive than your average dolls and soft toys. So if you wish to buy one for your little girl, make sure you get cream of the crop model, and the one you see above is without a doubt belongs to the cream of the crop category.
Performance Feedback
One positive thing I'd like to point out is the vehicle’s capability to maneuver over a variety of terrains. It’s pretty amusing to see the thing zipping over grass, gravel, hills, bumpy pavement, slopes, as well as dirty muddy grounds.
This “girly” little 4-wheeler really does have some decent juice in it. Rides silky smooth on flat concrete, but the real fun is seeing my daughter climbing these little hills in our backyard in her Barbie Kawasaki ATV or reversing over grassy areas.
Yes, this pink power wheels has the ability to reverse which is a wonderful feature and it seems to function quite smoothly. You can choose from two different speed options. For beginners, I recommend the default option which is the 2 ½ mph speed.
Once your little girl has completely familiarized herself with the handling of the vehicle, then you may want to let her try the 5mph speed option. The 5mph speed is very useful for climbing little hills and slopes. This vehicle’s overall performance is excellent as it provides generally smooth and fun riding experience for your child.
User-Friendliness Feedback
This pink power wheels ATV offers highly responsive handling and control. The twist-grip throttle is incredibly smooth making it easy for little girls to maneuver the vehicle. Controls are pretty straightforward and kids should be able to to get it running pretty quickly.
Nothing complicated, just press the drive button which can be found on the vehicle’s tank, grasp the handlebars, then press the pedal to accelerate forward or reverse. Remember, the preset speed is only 2 ½ mph. This is the ideal speed for your child to get the hang of the steering as well as learning how to brake and how to switch direction while accelerating.
As far as assembling goes, it was super straightforward for me. I didn’t have any problems putting all the parts together. However, my sister-in-law who also bought this very same pink kids ATV for her daughter, told me that the assembling procedure gave her a headache! I don’t know, but for me it was easy and totally smooth sailing. The user documentation included in the box is jam-packed with step-by-step pictures and easy to follow instructions so no worries.
By the way, to complete the assembly of the vehicle, you’ll need a couple of wrenches (included in the box), and a Philips screwdriver (NOT included). That’s all. And it didn’t take very long for me to assemble it. I think it was about 30 minutes or so. Applying the decoration and labels was the most fun part for me. My little girl helped me put on the decoration stickers.

Durability Feedback
Yes, this is a very durable ATV for girls. It’s constructed of some pretty tough plastic parts as well as metal parts. When I opened the box, I discovered that the metal parts were coated with lubricant. I think the lubricant coat was applied in order to protect the metal components during delivery. Good call because I didn’t find any bent or crooked metal parts.
The vehicle’s max weight load is 65 pounds so even an average 7 year old girl could ride on it. Manufacturer’s recommended age is 3 to 5 though, but it’s good enough to support the weight of girls who are a couple years older that the suggested age. The handlebars are responsive, solid and firm. They are well locked into position and do not wiggle. That’s pleasing because I purchased a power wheel for my nephew about three year ago and I remember the handlebars wiggled a lot. They were really wonky I tell you.
Safety Features Feedback
It has terrific safety features such as the power brake which stops the vehicle automatically when your little girl takes her foot off the acceleration pedal, a high speed lockout (the turbo 5mph speed option requires manual setup), and a 12 volt battery that contains a thermal fuse. What the thermal fuse does is it stops the vehicle if:
(1) Weight on the vehicle surpasses the max weight load of 65 pounds.
(2) Vehicle is being operated in severe driving conditions like attempting to ride it up highly steep hills or slopes, or when running directly into obstacles.
Battery Power Feedback
The battery holds plenty of power. A single 14 hour recharge would provide approximately 2 to 2 ½ hours of fun driving time. That is after each use. However, before you use the ATV for the first time, the charge period must be 18 hours. 2 ½ hours of operation after a 14 hour recharging is quite decent in my opinion. I just don’t like the first time 18 hour charge because the kids were so excited to see the vehicle unpacked and assembled for the first time, only to discover that they had to wait for 18 hours before they could actually drive the thing!
